When should your connecting rods be replaced?
The tie rod is part of the wheel suspension system. Its purpose is to keep the axle in contact with the ground when cornering and on deformed roads, thus preventing the unlicensed vehicle from pitching. The wheels are stabilised, the geometry of the train is maintained and vibrations when cornering are reduced. Each end of the rack is covered with a bellows to protect it. The purpose of the bellows is to contain the grease in the rack.
