WHEN SHOULD YOU REPLACE YOUR CONNECTING RODS AND BELLOWS?
The connecting rod is part of the wheel suspension system. Its purpose is to keep the axle in contact with the ground when cornering. However, on deformed roads, it prevents the car from pitching. This stabilises the wheels and maintains the geometry of the train. Vibrations when cornering are reduced. Each end of the rack is covered with a bellows to protect it. However, the bellows' role is to contain the grease in the rack.
