When should you change your throttle cable?
It should be noted that the main rival of the accelerator cable is moisture. As soon as water gets inside the hose, corrosion is imminent. After a while, the cable cuts and has no action, which is very dangerous for your safety. Moreover, the lack of lubricant has a destructive effect on a whole part of the engine. Defective accelerator cables cannot be repaired, only replaced.
