When should your glow relay be replaced?
The preheating relay is part of the preheating system. It is located in the engine compartment. Its function is to control and manage the preheating caused by the glow plugs. Its secondary contacts close when the glow relay is energised. This allows the current from the battery to flow through the glow plugs. This process heats the air in the combustion chambers.
